1Meet at Hardees in Lebanon at 8:30.
Lunch at the the Thornhills'.
2Meet at Hardees in
Tazewell at 8:00 a.m. The group then travels to Burkes Garden to look for eagles
and Rough-legged Hawks. Wear very warm clothes. The group birds in the morning
then has lunch at the Burkes Garden store. More birding after lunch.
3The walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. Meet at
Slate's Campground on Route 672 between Blackford and Honaker for a walk along
the Clinch River.
4Meet at Hardees in Lebanon. Leave at 8:30 for Hidden Valley
Lake.
5Come to the Thornhills' around 8:00 a. m. Bird from the deck
and have coffee, tea, or soft drinks. At your leisure, walk up the hollow
to look for warblers and other migrants. The grass is usually very wet so
bring appropriate footwear. Lunch of burgers, hot dogs, and chips.
6Meet at Claypool Hill Wal-Mart
at 7:30 a.m. then caravan to Hinton WV to meet with Bibbee Nature Club members.
The day is spent looking for eagles and waterfowl on Bluestone Lake, New River
and surrounding areas. Visitors welcome.
